Why Connected Minds

Not an agency.
A network you connect to.

You already have a product, a roadmap and a way of working. What you're missing is senior expertise. We don't sell you a project — we connect you with independent engineers who deliver the work.

How it works

From request to pull request.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

Stack, scope, expected workload, time-zone overlap and start date. A 20-minute call is enough — no RFP, no discovery phase.

  2. 02

    Meet your shortlist

We match you with engineers from the network who have delivered exactly this kind of work. You talk to them and choose — nobody is assigned to you.

  3. 03

    Align and deliver

Together you agree on goals, scope and how you'll stay in sync. The engineers organize their own work and deliver against what you agreed. We handle contracts, invoicing and continuity if anything changes.

Meet the minds

Real engineers. Not a bench.

Sample profiles, anonymized on purpose. You meet the people behind them in the interview — full CVs and references follow once we know what you're looking for.

Stacks

Where our minds are at home.

Nine stacks, one network. Tell us which one you work in — we'll find the minds who already know it inside out.

Backend

APIs, services and business logic — from enterprise systems to lean web backends.

  • Java
  • .NET
  • Node.js
  • PHP
  • Python

Frontend

Web applications your users actually enjoy using.

  • React
  • Angular

Mobile

Cross-platform apps for iOS and Android from one codebase.

  • Flutter

Cloud & DevOps

Infrastructure, pipelines, deployments and operations.

  • Cloud / DevOps

Something else?

Legacy system, niche framework, unusual combination? Ask — the network is bigger than this list.

Engagement models

Start with one. Scale to a squad.

Single mind

One senior engineer takes on a clearly defined piece of work — a backend service, a cloud setup, a frontend feature set.

Dedicated squad

A self-organizing group of engineers who already work well together delivers a product or major component, aligned with your product owner.

Typical engagements

What teams bring us in for.

small team · java

The roadmap outgrew the team

A product company needs to ship a new API platform this quarter. Three backend engineers take over the platform work stream in close coordination with the in-house team and hand over cleanly when the peak is over.

single mind · cloud

Nobody owns the infrastructure

A startup's deployments live in one developer's head. A platform engineer sets up infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and monitoring — and documents it for the team.

dedicated squad · node.js + react

A new product next to the core

An established company wants to test a new digital product without pulling its core team off. A small squad builds the MVP, aligned with the company's product owner on goals and priorities.

For developers

Become a connected mind.

You're an experienced freelancer. You want interesting clients, fair rates and none of the agency politics. We want you in the network.

Join the network
  • Work directly with product teams

You collaborate with the people who own and use the product — no middle layer. Your work is seen and valued.

  • We handle the paperwork

Contracts, invoicing and payment terms are on us. You focus on engineering.

  • Stay independent

You stay a freelancer with your own business. Choose the projects, stack and workload that fit you — and keep your other clients.

  • Grow the network

Recommend engineers you trust. The best minds bring other good minds.

FAQ

Straight answers.

How is this different from hiring or staff augmentation?

Our engineers are independent contractors with their own businesses — not employees, and not staff we lend out. They work alongside your team on clearly agreed work, bring their own tools and decide how best to deliver. And unlike an agency, we don't take over your product: ownership stays with you.

How does collaboration work day to day?

You agree with the engineers on goals, priorities and acceptance criteria, and on how you stay in sync — for example through your repository, ticket system and regular check-ins. How and when the work gets done is up to them. Our engineers are used to collaborating with teams that work in Scrum, Kanban or with code reviews.

Who owns the code?

You do. All work results and intellectual property are transferred to you under the engagement contract.

What if an engineer isn't the right fit?

Tell us. We'll bring in another engineer from the network and organize the handover, so the work keeps moving.

Which time zones do you cover?

Our minds work from Central and Eastern Europe, in CET (UTC+1) and EET (UTC+2). That gives US teams a solid overlap in the morning Eastern Time for calls, reviews and pairing, and full overlap for European teams.

Do you also do operations and administration?

Through the network, yes: cloud and DevOps engineers take on clearly scoped infrastructure work such as system maintenance, cloud migrations or CI/CD setups.
